Product Overview
The HM-ZX02 from HM Instruments is an automatic microplate washer for laboratories that need programmable washing between enzyme immunoassay steps. It combines touchscreen operation with automatic pipeline rinsing and supports either full-plate washing or selected strips.
The wash system uses 8- or 12-needle heads, two-point aspiration and bottom rinsing. Fine adjustment of liquid pressure allows washing settings to be adapted to the procedure. Optional expansion to 2 or 4 wash-liquid channels is available for workflows requiring more than one wash solution; select the liquid-channel configuration when ordering.

Applications
Use this washer for programmed washing of microplates in enzyme immunoassay procedures. Full-plate mode supports complete batches; selected-strip mode allows only the required strips to be washed. Flat-, U- and V-bottom plates are supported.
Set wash cycles, soaking, shaking and aspiration to match the assay procedure and the plate in use. Optical measurement is performed with a separate microplate reader after the required assay steps.

Operation and Support
Select a stored program or define the washing sequence for the assay. Choose the required strips and cycles, set soaking and shaking as needed, and arrange pipeline rinsing as part of the washing workflow.
Are multiple wash-liquid channels standard?
The 2- and 4-channel wash-liquid arrangements are optional configurations. Select the number of liquid channels for your procedure when ordering. These liquid channels are separate from the 8- or 12-needle wash-head specification.
How does this model differ from HM-ZX01?
HM-ZX02 adds touchscreen operation, automatic pipeline rinsing and optional multi-liquid expansion. It stores 600 programs and supports shaking settings up to 24 hours; HM-ZX01 uses LCD menus, stores 120 programs and supports shaking up to 600 seconds.
